Season 2 explores Guizhou's culture, history, and its links to the Chinese culture. The series won "Best TV Documentary" at the 19th Chinese American Film & TV Festival in 2023.

"Living in Guizhou (Season 2)" has 8 episodes and each episode is about 45 minutes. In each episode, a famous Chinese anthropologist and historian is invited to enter the unique cultural settlement of Guizhou, explore the historical and cultural remains and discover those historical details that are almost ignored and forgotten today. By doing this, it arouses people's memory and shows its enlightenment and value to the modern society.
